Service Description: The only specialized children's mental health program for Deaf and hard of hearing children, youth and families and children of Deaf adults in the province of Ontario * offered in-person and virtually * services are linguistically and culturally accessible and are provided by/in American Sign Language (ASL), deaf counsellors, professional interpreters

Provides individualized services which may include:
  • individual therapy
  • family therapy
  • group therapy
  • art therapy
  • parent/sibling support
  • case management
  • advocacy
  • training and education
  • consultation with other agencies providing service to Deaf clients
  • early intervention program for parents of children from the age of o to 6 * contact Robert Haughton at rhaughton@bobrumball.org

Staff are trained professionals who can help with problems such as:
  • school issues
  • grief counselling
  • relationship issues
  • separation and divorce
  • depression
  • anxiety
  • self-harm
  • physical/sexual abuse
  • family conflict
  • family communication issues

A partnership between Bob Rumball Canadian Centre of Excellence for the Deaf (BRCCED) and the Reach Out Centre for Kids (ROCK) * located on the campus of the Ernest C. Drury School for the Deaf, 255 Ontario St S, Milton, L9T 2M5
