Service Description: Provides free or publicly funded dental care for eligible children, adults, and seniors through community dental clinics and mobile dental offices.
Services include:
  • Dental exams, cleanings, fluoride treatments, and sealants
  • Basic treatment such as fillings and extractions
  • Emergency care to relieve pain or infection
  • Oral health education and prevention
  • School dental screening programs
  • Assistance in determining eligibility for publicly funded dental programs
  • Help complete applications and find a participating dentist if needed

Eligibility / Target Population:
  • Healthy Smiles Ontario (HSO): Free dental care for children and youth aged 0-17 from eligible households.

  • Ontario Seniors Dental Care Program (OSDCP): Free dental care for low-income seniors 65 years and older

  • Canadian Dental Care Plan (CDCP): Dental coverage for Canadians of any age: Ontario Works (OW),
  • Ontario Disability Support Program (ODSP), and Non-Insured Health Benefits (NIHB)

    Active recipients are eligible for publicly funded dental services.
