Health Sciences North (HSN) is seeking an innovative individual for the position of Nurse Practitioner to function as a practitioner, consultant, educator and advocate in a multidisciplinary care team in the implementation, evaluation and provision of high quality, client centered care in collaboration with Medical Directors, other physicians and agencies.
The ideal candidate will have graduated from an accredited Nurse Practitioner Program. A current certification in Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS), Automated External Defibrillator (AED), and Non-violent crisis intervention is required. We are looking for someone with a minimum of three (3) years of experience as a Nurse Practitioner in an addictions service role. Candidates that possess training or experience in culturally safe care provision are preferred.
