HSN INCENTIVES
We offer competitive salary and vacation, extended health and dental benefits, and up to $3500 relocation allowance to assist with moving expenses. Monetary incentives are available upon hire such as reimbursement of registration fees and/or signing bonus up to $25,000.
The Shirley & Jim Fielding Northeast Cancer Centre at Health Sciences North is one of 14 regional cancer programs in Ontario and partners with Ontario Health - Cancer Care Ontario to serve more than 600,000 people across Northeastern Ontario. Each year, the Centre treats over 3,000 new cancer patients and provides approximately 17,000 chemotherapy and 38,000 radiation therapy visits, helping patients avoid travel to Southern Ontario for care. It also supports 12 community hospitals in delivering specialized cancer services and offers virtual appointments to keep care close to home. The Centre is home to internationally recognized oncologists, scientists, and researchers leading innovative research and clinical trials.
Join our dynamic Radiation Therapy team where you'll have the opportunity to work across all areas of the program—CT simulation, dosimetry, brachytherapy, and treatment delivery. We’re equipped with state-of-the-art technology, including 5 Linear Accelerators (1 Elekta Infinity and 4 Varian TrueBeam machines with FFF), 2 advanced CT simulators with 4D deviceless and RPM capabilities, and we run two active brachytherapy programs: HDR Gynae and LDR Prostate. As of January 2026, Expansion of “As of Right” legislation allows more regulated health professionals moving to Ontario from another province to practice right away while they await registration with the regulatory body in Ontario. Radiation Therapist Qualifications/Skills
• The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of a three (3) year Bachelor’s Degree in Radiation Therapy, from an accredited university or equivalent.
• Current Certificate of Registration with the College of Medical Radiation Technologists of Ontario (CMRITO) in the speciality of Radiation Therapy. However, candidates expected to obtain registration in the next few months and recent graduates are strongly encouraged to apply.
• Current Certificate in Cardiopulmonary CPR is required.
• Ministry of Labour “Worker Health and Safety Awareness in 4 Steps” training certificate is required.
• Additional qualifications may be required.
